Is it possible to change the patient information screen to make it more "welcoming"?

Our patient information screen at Newport has now been updated to make it more eye-catching and interesting whilst still providing all patients with up to date information regarding the practice.

My previous surgery used a patient self-check in machine to save standing waiting in a queue.  Is it possible for Tayview to have such machines?

The practice had, previously, considered installing these machines at both practices.  Unfortunately, the overall costs involved would be substantial to the practice and, at this present time, given the current economic climate, this would not be a valuable use of our limited resources.  However, should the economic climate become more positive in the future, this is certainly an area that we may well look at again.

The choice of radio station could be improved.  Patients are already stressed when arriving at the doctor surgery.  Perhaps a more 'soothing' radio station could be considered?

Unfortunately, we are limited in the number of radio stations received.  However, staff will now ensure that a more 'soothing' radio station is used and this has now been implemented.

Is it possible to produce a practice newsletter to keep patients up to date?

We commenced our new newsletter during Autumn 2016.  Our newsletter will be issued every quarter whilst also being available to read through our website.
